1. Retail sales. "September marked 5th consecutive monthly gain for control group retail sales ... hard to see a material slowdown in GDP with that kind of strength."
2. Q3 GDP. The Atlanta Fed's GDPNow model estimate for Q3 GDP growth rose to 3.4% from 3.2% on Oct 9, driven by increased consumer spending.
3. Economic expansions. "Compared to past four expansions, current one is still relatively young ... especially when looking at two most recent expansions that started in 2009 and 1991."
4. Dow Theory. "The current position of Dow Theory is an unconfirmed uptrend, or bull market, with new highs for the Industrials and a lack of new highs for the Transports."
5. NYSE Advance-Decline Line. "Strong NYSE breadth says liquidity is plentiful."
